Iron Artillery Gimlet

Unmarked Iron gimlet used to ream the touch hole in a muzzle loading cannon or mortar. Used to puncture the powder bag once inserted into the cannon or mortar. Also could be used to clean burnt powder residue from touch hole. An indispensable item for the cannoneer. In good condition although there is some waviness in the shaft possibly from an aggressive gunner in the heat of battle.  Overall length is 13 inches. $ $125.00

Flame concentrator:

Used to direct the flame of the powder charge inward to the fuse on a artillery round. Retains a substantial amount of it's black finish. $30.00

Sealed box of friction primers:

One of the nicest primer packs I have had with the clearest label I have seen in a long time. These are really getting hard to find in any condition let alone this nice.
